I was attracted to the yellow tone when I was thinking of a neutral color for fall 2017and wanted to put together a small collection using this palette for the end of the year. In terms of yellow tone, the stones that come to mind are: citrine, lemon topaz, amber, rutilated quartz, yellow jade, yellow diamond, yellow sapphire to name a few.
Given the neutrality of the stones mentioned above, I combined the ones in the collections with onyx, hematite, pearls or just put together a design where the beauty of the stone just came through.
Given the neutrality of the color you can wear any of these necklaces or pieces with black, blues, brown, grey, yellow, white, burgundy, pink, green.
